Unable to Launch Adobe Audition past the third / fourth time after fresh installation.

I use Audition almost daily, and recently on a new PC, I have been having issues- I cannot launch it without reinstalling it after using it for a while, forcing me to keep having to reinstall it, to use it for a while, then when I close and reopen it another day, it remains stuck at Initialization (dvascripting).

 

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

dvascripting is a .dll, so there's a possibility that one of the libraries that gets added when you install Audition is corrupted. But it seems a little odd that it works for a few goes, and then fails, I must say. Can you post the crash log text into this thread? As for an initial course of action, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling Audition using the CCcleaner app, which can tidy up a lot of stuff that a normal uninstall leaves behind, and increases the chance of a successful installation considerably.
