P: Camera Raw 13.3 Shift Key Analyzing Image

Since updating to ACR 13.3 if I have multiple dng files open and I am pressing Shift a window pops up with "Analyzing image" very briefly and all basic setting names change to Auto. The problem is that I use shift to select multiple files in the filmstrip, but the window that pops up stops me from doing that in my normal workflow if I don't do it extra slow. I reverted back to 13.1 and the shift key behaves normally again, no interruptions.

We are professionals editing large batch of photos and we don't need auto adjustments at all, please fix this issue

I see the updater... but now we have to ask, Rikk, what the hell did Adobe break in order to fix their last screwup?  And will this function properly on Intel Macs or will it crap the bed like Photoshop in every other way?

Can't help but scratch my head and ask... why does it feel like we're paying to beta-test new versions of your software?  Seems kinda bass-ackwards, doesn't it, Rikk?

You will likely need to refresh the app, reboot your computer, or wait up to 24 hours.

Here is the link to the troubleshooting document: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

Let me know if you can't see it.

@Rikk they're all updated. "Update all" is grayed out. Camera Raw v 13.3. I just opened a file in Camera Raw, hit shift and it's still doing it.

@Rikk I'm not seeing the update for Camera Raw. I've shut the creative cloud app down and opened it back up. Says it's up to date with 13.3.

@Rikk Why does the shift key still change the labels to Auto? Also, when pressing one of the Auto Adjustments (Auto Highlights for example) and releasing the shift key the labels of the sliders don't change back - I am left with all labels being Auto except Highlights. If I release the shift key quickly enough that does not happen.

Greetings,

Updates to Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic and the Lightroom Ecosystem products for Desktop, Mobile and Web, were released today and contain a fix for this issue.

Please refresh your Creative Cloud application and install your update when it becomes available. Thank you for your patience.

@BKPhoto Alas, I fear it's only going to be possible to do that "for a limited time" because I'd best my last dollar that "sooner" rather than "later" a later version is going to be required if we want to work with later versions of Photoshop.

At that point one has to decide to keep paying for old versions, or get their workflows crippled.

This is so damn irritating; I used to do as much as possible in ACR and now I can't get out of it quick enough.

@colin_southern - Everything Adobe has been implementing is turning this software suite into a complete chunk of useless storage.

I've reverted to 13.1 on my equipment.  You have to do so manually since the garbage heap CC application doesn't allow it there.

Download and install 13.1; it'll overwrite the current crap.
