Please fix as soon as possible or at least give a link to the previous version which I had no issues with.

    Greetings all,

A new update for the Adobe Photography products has been released.  The June release contains an update regarding this issue.

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by pressing  [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Thank you for being so patient.

Confirming that updating from 18.3.0.2528 to 18.3.0.2529 also resolved two issues I was experiencing:

    1. Panorama merge DNGs failing to open in Photoshop when any Upright correction was applied (Auto or Guided). The error message referenced being unable to parse the file. Without Upright correction applied, the merged DNG opened without issue.

    2. The Ctrl+loupe magnification in Guided Upright not functioning.

Both issues resolved after installing 2529. Shooting Hasselblad 3FR on Mac (Apple Silicon), Photoshop 27.6.0.

@AnnaAnPhoto, I copied your text from your previous post below so others here can better understand your issue.

    ==========================

I am experiencing another issue with Photoshop 2025 on macOS.

A DNG file generated through Lightroom Super Resolution cannot be opened in Photoshop.

    Error message:
“The file-format module cannot parse the file.”

The same file still opens normally in Lightroom, so the DNG itself does not appear to be completely corrupted.

    Workflow:
Canon R5 CR3 → Lightroom Super Resolution → DNG → Photoshop 2025 fails to open

This looks like a Camera Raw / file parsing issue between Lightroom and Photoshop.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes I have exactly the same issue although from ACR into Photoshop on a PC. It was working fine, then took the latest updates last week and now the HDR Pano.dng created by ACR wont open in Photoshop and the error messageis exactly the same. Co-Pilot suggests that the issue is a known issue when using an intel arc processing card but the work around it suggest still won’t work. Hoping (if it is a known issue) for a patch. On version 27.6 of Photoshop

Camera RAW 18.3 version is extremely slow and unusable. Please fix the performance issue, i don’t want the new feature. As the version before performance is also not that good.

    Sorry for the quick reply.

It does happen only with camera raw. Other programs are working as usual.

There is no crash. Only a deep freeze lasting 5 seconds to 10 seconds.

    Hey @eiapoce,

I’m moving your post from the Bug category to Camera Raw Questions while we gather more details about the crashing issue.

It sounds like this may be happening across multiple programs. Can you confirm if that’s the case? If you haven’t already, were you able to submit a crash report? Please let us know whether the report is for Camera Raw or Photoshop.

It would also help if you could share your system information. You can find this by going to Help > System Info. Please copy the details into a text file and attach it to your reply.

Here to help, just need more details.

Hello, I started editing with photoshop after a 4 months pause and I found this unpleasant bug.

When using Camera Raw on a Windows 11 PC with AMD Ryzen 9950x CPU, RTX 4070ti Super GPU and x870 Chipset Camera Raw freezes the pc while rendering the raw files

In order to troubleshoot the problem I freshly formatted the computer and started fresh with a updated windows 11 pro and stock bios settings (no overclock) latest nvidia studio drivers v596.36 and nvidia app v11.0.7.247. All programs are latest version. Bridge is v16.0.3.21 and ACR is v18.3.0.2528

    How to replicate the issue
When editing RAW files coming from my Canon R6MKII ACR behaves sluggish. Modifiing sliders induces lags. I usually open 20 pictures at the time and the more the picture I edit the heavier the problem gets. After around 10 pictures are edited hard freeze happens - it’s impossibile to run task manager or to move the mouse - keystrokes are accumulated in the buffer. Usually thereafter the freeze resolves itself after waiting 5 to 10 seconds.

When I deselect the option to use the Graphic Processor in ACR preferences everything resumes as normal - that is without hardware acceleration the renders are MUCH faster and lagless.

This is happening on the newly formatted pc with no third party software or plugins.

I have to note that other programs and games have no issues at all. I did not try to run Lightoom.

Did you try any of the suggestions discussed below in this thread? Many people have had success with these suggestions. In particular there is a newer (slightly newer) version of ACR to hold you over until the next release - it worked for me.

See below the yellow highlighted post from Rikk Flohr...
