Update to latest LR: Now, moving sliders causes image colors to dim and brighten in a psychedelic way!. Not good. Makes you think video card is going.

Turning off the acceleration is causing me major headaches as the system is considerably slower when editing images 😞

Will you be advising us when the problem is solved.  Very annoying.

There are quite a few problems that needed fixed, so while this one probably required less than 3 weeks, several others or the combination of everything, has taken longer.

The workaround has been to roll back to LR 6.4/2015.4 unless you have a new camera that needs xxxx.5 support.   To roll back you'd need to uninstall LR, then download and install the .0 version, again, then download and install the .4 patch.  The various installers and patchers are available, here:

This turns out to be an AMD driver bug on Mac OS X 10.11. We're working with Apple/AMD to resolve the issue. For a workaround, turn off the GPU acceleration from the Preferences dialog.

Any update on this?
3 weeks seems adequate time to fix the problem - it is slowing my work down immensely with the graphics accelerator turned off and it is unusable with it turned on since the recentupdates

Our engineers have narrowed this down to an issue in the drivers for AMD cards on OS X. We're working with Apple to track down a fix.

The the meantime, the workaround is to disable "Use Graphics Processor" in Lightroom https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-gpu-faq.html#troubleshooting or Camera Raw https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/acr-gpu-faq.html#Troubleshooting

SOLUTION PROVIDED BY ADOBE FOR MY PROBLEM:
I contacted Adobe's live chat and, after they took remote control of my computer and changed a few settings on Photoshop, the issue disappeared. The settings changed were:

Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphics processor settings > Advanced:
"Use graphics processor to speed computing" tickbox: YES
"Use OpenCL" tickbox: NO
"Guides and ... edge sharpening" tickbox: NO
"30-bit display" tickbox: NO

Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw > Performance > "Use graphics processor" tickbox: NO

Changing these settings eliminated the issue for me. Hope it helps!

I'm running Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 in my 2011 21.5" iMac which is running OS X 10.11.3. After updating to the latest versions of both Photoshop and Camera Raw, ACR flickers my image from the current exposure to an extremely dark one then back to the current exposure. It's EXTREMELY annoying when trying to fine tune the look of an image.

I just downloaded 6.5 and am having terrible flickering problems.  Has anyone found a solution to this problem.  So upset - what a waste of money.

For future reference: Bo reported in the original topic that turning off the GPU in LR stopped the flickering.
