Bug: Couldn't commit changes in live view. Moves all content to front.

When editing an existing HTML document, Dreamweaver posts "Couldn't commit the changes made in Live View. Refresh the Live View and try editing again." It them moves everything edited/entered into the page to the beginning of the document body. This essentially makes the software unusable.

This sounds more like a coding issue than a bug.

Can you provide a full screenshot of your Dreamweaver application where this occurs please?  You can embed an image in your web forum reply.

In the meantime, validate your code and fix reported errors.  Go to Window > Results > Validation.  Click the triangle to check document.  Valid code is denoted by a green checkmark.  Invalid code shows a red X.   See screenshot.

Also, are you working within a defined local site folder?

Does your site folder reside on your primary hard drive, not a cloud or external drive?
