sometimes when opening a php file - just text view - it will remain white and will not rendere the text . Closing the app and reopening will work but is become annoying

Randomly when already having multiple documents open if i open a new one it will not render and all i can see is a white screen - i am only using text view for things like php and twig / html / css. When opeing dreamweaver new it does show briefly the same white screen but then will finish rendering but when the problem appears the same white screen will stay white.this is lastest 21.8 dreamweaver and a fully updated windows 11

Dreamweaver 21.8 lost my ability to insert extensions - the menus.xml file is corrupt. Resetting preferences did not work

I have been using Dreamweaver 21 since December 2025. Have successfully installed extensions using DMX Zone Extension Manager. I think due to the recent update, the Insert menu does not display the extensions. When trying to upload again or different ones, the same error message appears: the file menus.xml is corrupt. I have searched and found the recommendation to reset preferences, which I did twice, and am still getting the same message that the menus.xml file is corrupt. Please help.

right click on tab open in browser adds encoded question mark %3F, which breaks the path to the file. If I remove the added query string it works well. But I don't like this inefficient behaviour.

This is what happens with the encrypted question mark. This is with a normal question mark.I use Dreamweaver for more than 2 decades. This was never a problem. I don't know why the query string is added anyway. In 21.6 this was not added.

The Copy/Paste Issue Seems to Have Returned

In order to copy/paste in Dreamweaver 21.5 (Windows 11), I have to click out of the program only to have to click back into the program just to copy. If I don't do this, when I copy the selected text (code), it will randomly jump and just copy something else. Rebooting has no effect.

code view: font size suddenly becomes illegible small

Again and again, when I use CTRL+S button to save my edits (when working in sourcecode window)  the text becomes suddenly extremely small and I cannot restore that. When I check my settings in Preferences the size of the Source Code Pro font (Unicode) is the same  as it was before (11 pt). But not in my window, it looks terribly small. I have to quit and restart Dreamweaver (Windows-version 21.6)  to make fonts look normal again. A shortkey bug perhaps? In my recollection it wasn't like this before.

Dreamweaver no longer populates command menu in latest version of iOS. If I right click on a cell and open the menu it no longer has any options when you click on table, paragraph, list, font, etc...

Right clicking on a cell brings up the usual menu but then will not open the options the menu displays. This started in the most recent version of Mac iOS. Tahoe 26 Thanks for your help. It started the moment I installed the operating system.

Die einzige stabile Version bleibt 21.4. Alle neueren Versionen haben den gleichen Fehler: Die gespeicherten Sites werden nicht mehr korrekt synchronisiert.

Nach jedem Neustart der App werden dutzende Dateien mit "Die lokale Datei und die entfernte Datei wurden geändert. Auflösen" markiert. Ich kann die Dateien manuell hochladen, bei einem nächsten Sync ist es dann korrekt. Wenn ich DW neustarte und erneut synchronisiere werden die Dateien erneut falsch gekennzeichnet. Ich habe alles versucht (Preferences gelöscht etc...) ohne Erfolg. Bei Version 21.4 tritt der Fehler nicht auf.

Sync Bug since 21.5

Since the Update to 21.5. i get a MacOS alert when opening Dreamweaver that it wants to get access to other apps. I can't get rid of this alert even when clicking "allow".Then when I try to sync my local site with the server I am getting lots of files displayed to be "ignored" but the actual changed file are not shown to upload. I need to upload all "ignored" files and then everything works as expected again. Until the next restart of the application.I use Dreamweaver only in Developer-View to edit code and manage and sync multiple files. So went back to version 21.4.Dreamweaver 21.5, MacOS Sequoia 15.5

Path naming issues in Windows 11 prevent Dreamweaver from seeing files.

Very strange issue. I found some files on the remote server do not show up in Dreamweaver. When I look with Explorer, the files are there locally. But they have a strange path with \\?D:\ on the front. The files that do show up do not have the \\? on them. I can see the files on the remote server, but cannot sync them back as I get an ftp error.This is probably a Win 11 issue but no idea how to report this. I wish Dreamweaber could see these files.This is somewhat new, as I had been able to sync in the past.What do I do?

Quand j'utilise "windows + v" (de la fonction de copiage avec validation de la mémoire de copie) et que je clique sur un texte a copier dans les deux champs de recherche de DW, alors le texte est copié deux fois.

J’ai validé l’historique du presse papier de windows 11, et quand je l’utilise avec le raccourcis “windows + v” dans les des deux champs de recherche de DW (“Crtl + f” et “Crtl + Maj + f” ) alors le clic sur le texte choisi est dupliqué dans le champ (cela ne se produit que dans DW).Ex : si “bidule” est dans l’historique du presse papier et que je fais “windows + v” dans les champs de recherche de DW alors le clic sur ce texte dans l’historique du presse papier de windows le copie deux fois dans le champ de recherche de DW et donne : “bidulebidule”.

After the upgrade to 21.7 it takes Dreamweaver endless time to connect a file on the iCloud, the wheel of hell rotates for minutes now. Any idea to fix it?

After the upgrade to 21.7 on a Macbook Pro with Tahoe 26.2, whenever I try to connect to a file on the Mac/iCloud the opening window is greyed out and I can enjoy the Spinning Pinwheel for minutes until the file is “loaded”? A broken workflow like that is extremely annoying. Any idea for a fix?

DW 21.7 code view crashes app

When using code view (which I use exclusively), DW will crash randomly, but persistently. I'm not sure what is causing this but I believe it's related to the code collapse and/or code assist features. When I use/revert back to a previous version, specifically 21.5, DW doesn't crash although the code-collapse feature still incorrectly collapses code from a previously saved version of a file. And I suspect that the code-assist feature may be the issue because when I disable the code assist, I can use DW for a longer period of time before it crashes. With code assist enabled, especially for DW 21.7, I can only use it for a few minutes before it crashes fairly consistently. App Version: > 21.5Windows 11 AMD Ryzen 9 16GB RAM

Dreamweaver 21.7 update crashes as soon as I open it

The Dreamweaver 21.7 update causes the program to crash as soon as I open it.Is Adobe aware of this and do they have a plan to fix it? Also, do they test their software before they release it?

Dreamweaver 21.7 code view UI (text, scrollbar, etc.) become unusably massive when creating new file

Dreamweaver 21.7 on Windows 10 rig. No add-ons or plugins. I run a lean code editor. First- been a DW user for a very long time (nearly 2 decades). I know all the preference reset hacks. Already tried them. This is a bonafide new bug, especially since it's been a month of Sundays since Adobe cared about DW and now suddenly it's not functioning properly after a new update. When going to "File -> New -> *select any document type*" the new file appears, as expected, but the code editor font is so large, only a handful of 'words' in a string fit per line before wrapping. Additionally, the scrollbar becomes massive (about ~50px wide) as well as the line numbers being FUBAR too. If you close DW and restart, the UI becomes normalized and usable again. However, if you create a new file again, same issue all over again. If you go to "View -> Code View Options -> *select either 'Decrease Font' or 'Restore Font Size'*" to correct without restarting DW, the fon
