Without any relevant details, nobody knows what you’re talking about.

    1. Which version of DW?
    2. Which operating system?
    3. On which volume/hard drive does your local site folder reside? If it’s on external or cloud drives, try moving the site folder to your computer’s primary hard drive & redefine the site location in your Manage Sites panel.

Nancy, I have attempted to post about these issues several times over the past few months, and all I receive in response is the same advice that you are giving me, which is what I am already doing, or a set of other instructions that have not eliminated the problem. When I attached screen shots of the issue, I received error messages that I had too many characters in my text, so I’d like to know how exactly I am supposed to resolve these issues? Drive to their offices with my MacBook Pro and show them in person? This support is a joke, and it is not helping whatsoever.

Just so you know, I am running macOS Tahoe 26.5 on a 16-inch, Nov 2023 MacBook Pro with 36 GB of memory. The POS software about which I am furiously frustrated is Dreamweaver 21.8. I have deleted preferences files, reinstalled the software several times, and checked all of the other settings I’ve been instructed by AI to check more times than I can count.

For further clarification, the missing sections of the Create New pop-up window and the “File Not Found” errors happen randomly, even when opening previously linked (correctly) files.

Final assessment? The software is way too buggy to be of any lasting value to web developers.
