Code Editor Blacksout

While using Dreamweaver in split View (live or design) the code editor goes completely black after about 30/45mins of normal use. I cannot see any of my code in split view! When I try to change it to code view it shows a a completely black panel or distorted via of the web page. Changing it back to split view removes the panel completely. This has happened 3 times in the last 24hrs, but never before. The only thing that fixes it is quiting Dreamweaver and relaunching.

I am using macOS Monterey 12.3.1
