Code view font size is now illegibly small

Hi, I've recently encountered a bug I can't fix. The font's size in Dreamweaver Code View has become illegibily small, appearing as if it's about 2pt when it's set to 16pt. I can increase this by setting it to something large like 48pt or 72pt in Preferences -> Fonts -> Code View but it appears like it is 12px, however this has many knock on side effects.

I have also checked zoom is at 100% (Ctrl + 0) and can fine tune this by making it a little larger or smaller (Ctrl + '+/-') however each time I open a new document this resets.

Does anyone know why this is happening and have a fix? I was considering reinstalling Dreamweaver, but I don't want to lose all my presets, code snippets etc. Last time I did this getting them back was a bit of a palaver via support.

Also, can you please let us know the workflow which caused the issue, so that we can investigate the issue internally and provide feasible solution.
