Dreamweaver shortcut not working while using a VPN

Preferences > Code Format > Emmet: ✓ Expand abbreviations with the Tab key.

So, I have been trying to recreate the issue several times and honestly don't know if it is the VPN causing it.
today, for example, Emmet's shortcuts were working most of the day until this afternoon when I tried, to create a class and duplicate the paragraph html using. “.classname>p*3” structure but it stops working.
I tried to restart Dreamweaver and Emmet’s shortcut has not been working since.
I need to shut down my computer to make it work again.

I can't see how Emmett shortcuts are in any way related to VPN.

Dreamweaver is standalone desktop software.
