Unreal engine 5 crashes on startup when substance plugin is activated.

Hello, 

 

I've started working on a project where I need the substance plugin. When I activate the plugin unreal crashes and leaves this crash report:

I've tried to fix this for two days now. Deleting 'CachedAssetRegistry.bin', redownloading/reinstalling plugin, opening a new fresh project. Nothing works. Can't locate neither the 'SubstanceTexture2D.cpp' or the 'GenericPlatformMemory.cpp'.

Hi, Have you tried removing the plugin and re-installing it again? Or Could you try using the plugin in a new project and let us know if you're still encountering this issue? We recently released some bug fixes in the Plugin v5.3.2, so please use the latest version of the plugin.

windows and still happens with Unreal engine 5.3.2.. what is going on with this plugin?

Hi, Which version of Unreal Engine are you using? We have fixed some issues with Unreal Engine 5.1, so that might fix your issue as well. But let us know otherwise. Thanks!
