Illustrator no longer updating when new fonts added, without restarting.

Hi all! I'm having the same problem here, lastest version October 8th, as I saw on the previus comments the issue on the beta is now fixed so it will be updated on the normal version soon, right?

I just reverted to pervious version 29.8.1 using the Creative Cloud Desktop app and it has alowed me to use my normal workflow.  I am designing fonts and it is helpful to preview the results in Illustrator without having to re-start between every adjustment.  I will update to verion 30 when released out of beta.

As it seems to be fixed in the Beta, then I imagine that it will be in the stable release, soon.

I'm not using beta. The stable version was updated 6 days ago without fixing the fonts not updating issue. 

Latest Beta (30.0.91 and newer) fixed it for me 

Updated to 30.0.104 today, still working.

Thanks for sorting it.

OK, to update anyone who might be following.

I updated to the latest current (at time of posting) version 30.0.91 and it's working again!!

This is happening in Photoshop as well 😞

Tengo todo el dia revisando este problema. mi solucion ha sido instalar la version 29.7.1 y desactivar las actualizaciones automaticas de illustrator en Creative Cloud. Miestras Adobe soluciona el problema
