Can't load TIF files to web illustrator

I am not able to open TIF files via the place button on Web Illustrator.

    Hello @GAW_1,

    Thanks for reaching out. Placing TIF files is currently not supported on Illustrator on the Web. Could you try converting your image to a JPEG/PNG or a PDF/AI to see if it helps with your workflow?
