Document stays in View Only mode after reopening the document

If I close the tab, then it forever shows up as View Only, so I'm not able to edit it on the web ever again.

    Thanks for sharing the info, @Ashley23370117xjq6. Would you mind checking if you're logged in with the same Adobe ID on which you've an Illustrator subscription? Please also try opening the document in a different browser and let me know if that works.

      Hello! It has been consistent across all documents for me. Even after logging out or restarting my computer.

      Sorry for the trouble, and thanks for reaching out. To clarify, are you experiencing a situation where the document remains in view-only mode upon opening and doesn't transition to edit mode?

       

      Could you confirm if this issue is consistent across all documents or specific to one? It would be helpful to attempt closing and reopening the document to see if that resolves the problem.
