Banding in The Sky When Adjusting Temp and Tint

Description of Issue:
When I was adjusting the temp and tint of a sunset landscape photo, I noticed a slightly bright band between the orange glow at the horizon and blue sky. The band was bright, but subtile, and it moved down from the top of the image as I reduced the temp past -7000K and/or increased tint to 40-ish on this particular image. A recording and the raw file are attached.
If the sky has an even colour and temp, then I won’t see this issue. Only during sunrise and sunset, when the horizon is much warmer than the rest of the sky.

Lightroom Classic Version Number:
15.2.1 (Tried an older version, 14.0, and had the same issue) Don’t remember seeing this behaviour on Version 13.x, but I couldn’t be wrong.
OS Version Number:
macOS Tahoe 26.4
Camera Model:
Sony A7IV (Photos taken by A1 don’t seen to have this issue, but I don’t have enough samples to draw a definitive conclusion.)
Step-by-step Reproduction Instructions:
- Import attached RAW file into LrC V15.2.1.
- -0.35 exposure.
- Reduce temp to between 5000K and 7000K.
- (Optional) Increase tint to between +30 and +50.
- Wiggle the side(s) to see the bright band move up and down in the sky.
The Expected Result:
Smooth transition in the sky without artifacts.
The Actual Result:
Noticeable banding in transition region between the orange glow near the horizon and blue sky.
