Hi there, up until upgrading my Mac to Tahoe 26.2 and Lightroom Classic to 15.1.1, my navigator panel would display preset previews when i hovered over them leaving the ‘main’ image unedited.Now i either have no preview on the navigator and main image, or - after selecting ‘Enable Hover Preview of Presets in Loupe’ - i then have the preset preview on the main image and the navigator preview which is incredibly frustrating when editing larger files. Is there any workaround this?I’ve tried all the usual options in terms of clearing cache, resetting preferences, downgrading to previous versions etc. but nothing seems to allow me to just apply a preset preview to the navigator image alone.-Mark

This message appears on the screen. "An internal error has occurred: attempt to index field "?" (a nil value). How can I fix this?

For some newer Nikons, presets containing the Camera Standard profile are incorrectly indicated as partially incompatible.  The cameras for which I've observed this happening are the Z f, Z 6 III, Z 50 II, and the Z 8 (the most recently reviewed Nikons at dpreview.com). It doesn't happen with older Nikons.     Tested with LR 14.1.1 and LR 13.5.1 / Mac OS. To reproduce:   1. Download and open this catalog, which contains a raw for each of the problem Nikons: https://www.dropbox.com/s/guhjzylef1qslsc/italicized-preset.2025.01.04.zip?dl=0   2. Open the first photo in Develop.   3. Make a preset "Untitled Preset" with just Treatment & Profile selected. Observe in the Presets panel that the preset name "Untitled Preset" is italicized (incorrect).   4. Repeat for the other three photos.

On every import, the first image is always corrupt. Removing the image from the library and then synchronizing the directory brings the image back into the library correctly. I just updated to the most recent version, and the issue persists. Windows 11 24h2 26100.6899

I'm in the Develop module. Screen looks like this: Hit F key to go fullscreen, screen looks like this: Restarted, same result. Downloaded latest version, same result.   LrC version:  15.0.1 MacOS:  15.6   Let me know if you have questions. -jg-  

Hi. In Lightroom Classic v15.0 System Info is broken.When I press "Help > System Info..." I get following error message: I've debugged this and it turns out this is because I have unsupported GPU (GPU acceleration disabled).When gathering System Info, Lightroom calls AgImageIO.gpuVRAMTotalBytes() which returns nil.And then Lightroom fails when trying to convert that nil into megabytes using division.Similar issue was present in initial release of Lightroom Classic v12 (v12.0) and was fixed after my report at that time, and here we have it again...To resolve, just change "AgImageIO.gpuVRAMTotalBytes()" to "AgImageIO.gpuVRAMTotalBytes() or 0".Please fix this, because in my opinion System Info should work no matter if GPU is supported or not.@Rikk Flohr: Photography   Previous report for LrC v12.0 if this may be helpful, issue is exactly the same: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-bugs/p-unable-to-view-system-info/idi-p/13277112

Under Layout Style on Lightroom Classic there's a button that says "Find More Galleries Online", but that button only brings up the main Adobe web page,, and no link to any "Galleries".   Where can I find these "More Galleries"?   MacOS 15.7.2 Lightroom Classic 15.0   Thank you in advance.

The Import window is truncated on the right in six languages in Window > Screen Mode > Normal but,  at least for some languages, not in the other screen modes. (I didn't test all combinations.)    Truncation occurs in German (DE), French (FR), Norwegian (NB), Dutch (NL), Polish (PL), and Russian (RU). See the attached screenshots, including one for English (EN) for comparison.   I tested these configurations of LR 15.0.1:   - Windows 11 (ARM): Preferences > Interface > Font Size: 200%, main window size 2670 x 1561, Windows Display Scaling 250%.   - Windows 11 (Intel): Preferences > Interface > Font Size: 250%, main window size 3093 x 2519, Windows Display Scaling 250%.   I casually observed similar symptoms for NL and DE on Mac OS 15.7.1 but didn't thoroughly test Mac.

Since the beginning of LR I have been able to drag a folder on its dock icon and it prompts me to create a LRCAT and then opens the import dialogue box in one foul swoop.   Now it just freezes on the opening graphic before the import dialogue appears and I have to quit and import manually.   Any fixes out there?   Cheers Simon   Mac OS Tahoe 26.0.1 (25A362) Lightroom Classic 14.5.1

I am so SAD!  I have bought a new Macbook M4 Max However, Lightroom CC lastest version, cant EXPORT slideshows as videos! the progress bar is stopped at nearly 10% position. No matter if I wait several hours it won't move any progress = I Cant export slideshow as Video   I always used this function, for a few years, day by days   I uninstalled the LR and tried reinstalling it, but it still failed. Does anybody have the same issue?I wonder if it is a problem related to M4 chips. Please kindly help and fix please!

Hi. Since updating to v15, when I drag and drop a file onto the app from my desktop or folders, the app opens fine but doesn't and won't import the file I dropped on it. I have never had a problem like this with the app until I updated to v15 version. Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong or is this a bug with the new version? I am on a MacBook M4 pro.

The state of the toggle switch for the Distraction Removal panel is not returned by photo:getDevelopSettings(), though it is accessible via LrDevelopController.getValue "EnableDistractionRemoval".  The toggles for all the other Develop panels are accessible via both photo:getDevelopSettings() and LrDevelopController.   This prevents my Copy Settings plugin from correctly copying the settings for Reflections and People and my Any Filter plugin from correctly searching for that toggle value.  Using LrDevelopController.getValue() is not a viable workaround, since it requires opening each photo in Develop to access its value (several orders of magnitude slower).   To reproduce in LR 14.4 / Mac OS:   1. Save the attached script in the LR Scripts folder, changing its extension to ".lua", and restart LR.   2. Open an image in Develop and ensure the Distraction Removal Panel toggle is on.   3. In LR 14.0.1 I have been trying to use the new 'Limit Preview Cache Size' feature.  But after 2 week there is no change to the size of my preview cache after multiple restarts etc.  I've limited the cache to 250GB, but my previews remain at 460gb   Any ideas how this feature works or shold work?   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

The new implementation of Denoise in LR 14.4 has several bugs with Automatically Write Changes To XMP. As a result, it is not practical to use that option with large numbers of denoised photos.   - The Denoise data gets copied into the main .lrcat database file, making it two orders of magnitude larger and defeating the purpose of separating out computed AI data into the .lrcat-data file. Surely not intended by the original architects of the .lrcat-data file.   - Whenever LR is saving XMP for a large batch of denoised photos, e.g. after the initial application of Denoise or after applying a batch change to other Develop sliders, it isn't possible to switch photos in Develop until the saving completes, which can be minutes for large batches.   - After saving XMP has completed, spurious "Saving XMP for n photos" messages appear in the upper-left corner, even though the .xmp sidecars aren't actually being modified. Hello,   I recently had a call with Adobe support with no luck. I have found some threads on this but nothing presents a solution and it seems hard to find what the actual issue is.   If I edit a client gallery and use any healing brush tool or AI masking tool, the mask or healing brush/generative AI will get a red dot underneath after going back to the start of the gallery, my AI edits are gone....   I also noticed this happens 100% of the time when I quite and reopen lightroom, I can fix the mask, update ai settings but it just resets each time I open lightroom.   We tested a new catalogue, we tested a bunch of things with no luck.    We really need a fix on this Adobe it is killing workflow, not sure what broke this setting. I can't revert to an old version because I have lots of photos (I do 1 catalogue per year) and can't go back weeks of client work.   Also this catalogue was started at the begining of 2025 so there is no version 13 of this cata

In the German UI, the menu item to access plugin functions used to be "Zusatzmoduloptionen". In LrC 14.5 it's "Plug-in Extras" (the English name). Intended change or translation error?   While I don't care about the actual name, it breaks my autohotkey keyboard shortcuts for LrC.

Pasting a long list of file names into the Text filter "Any Searchable Field contains" causes LR to stall for many minutes, not responding to many commands.   The only way to recover is to let LR run for up to 10 minutes or more (or recover from backup). Restarting LR or deleting preferences doesn't help.   Pasting the list into the filter "Filename contains" works as expected.   To reproduce with LR 14.3.1 / Mac OS 15.3.2:   1. Removing the person keyword associated with the name assigned to a face rectangle fails to remove that name from the rectangle, and when the photo is exported, that keyword still gets exported even though it's been removed from the photo.   The bug is not present in LR 6.14 (Win 11) or 10.4, 11.0, 12.0 and 12.1 (Mac 15.7.1).  The bug is present in 12.2, 12.3, 13.0, 15.0 (Mac 15.7.1) and 15.0 (Win 11 Intel).   A clumsy workaround for removing the person keyword and name from one or more photos at once, without corrupting the catalog: Place the selected photos in the Quick Collection. Select the Quick Collection. Go to People view. Right-click the face thumbnail for that name and do Move To Unnamed People.   To reproduce:   1. Select a photo and go to Library Loupe view.   2. Using the Draw Face Region tool, draw a face rectangle over any part of the photo.   3. Type "Jane" in the face rectangle's name box and hit enter.   4. In the Keywording

After updating to LHR classic 14.1.1 LHR stops shwoing metadat in the lybrary module as well as in the developement module (loupe info). Closing LHR and deleting the files: ...Helper.Lrdata, ....Previews.Lrdata as well as ....Sync.Lrdata helps, as they are created each time new when starting LHR.  But after working for about 10min all the metadata disapears again.  I have installed LRH fresh and reset all settings. Nothings seems to help. I have a attached a screenshot but I wonder if that helps - there is just that spinning wheel.     Any suggestions?    P.S. I have a large catalog with about 200.000 photos in it but have had no issues so far. Big Windows PC with plenty of power. 

When the Camera Raw default for a camera sets the profile to Camera Neutral or Camera Landscape, toggling B&W on and then off leaves WB changed to Custom with Temp = 5001 and Tint = 10, regardless of the photo or camera. This doesn't occur when the Camera Raw default is set to Adobe Default.   1. Custom video export presets installed by LrExportSettings.addVideoExportPresets() don't appear in the Export window when LR's language is set to any language except English.     This bug prevents users of my Any Video Preset plugin from using it in any language except English.   To reproduce on LR 14.2 / Mac OS 15.3.2:   1. Brush strokes made with the Remove tool appear in the wrong place on a portrait image, rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise. This occurs in LR 13.4 / Windows 11, but it doesn't occur on Mac OS 14.5.   To reproduce:   1.
