Presets can be applied automatically on import, but will be applied to all images, regardless of what lens has been used. So you have to apply it manually.
Apply the Viltrox profile to one image.

Then go to Develop > New Preset.
In the preset dialog, uncheck everything, then check Lens corrections and Enable profile corrections.

The preset will now appear in the Presets panel, click it to apply to an image.

In Library, you can use the Metadata filter in the filter bar to display only images taken with this lens.

Select all the images, then click Custom at the top of the Quick Develop panel, choose User Presets > Viltrox 35mm.

The objective correction does not occur automatically when importing files:
With the Z8, the 24-120 f4 Nikon is not automatically recognized, as well as the Viltrox 35 f1.2 Lab, even though both are in the database.
The Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 in F-mount is perfectly corrected automatically at import.
How can this be done?

If this is the native Nikkor Z 24-120mm f/4 S, corrections are written to the raw file in the camera, and applied automatically in LrC.
I don’t know why the Viltrox lens is not recognized, but you can apply the profile manually, and also create a preset for it.
