P: (14.3) Sonoma - WB Picker Loupe Tool is stuck after first click

Running 13.1 on intel iMac, Sonoma.  Grab the eyedropper for white balance and the loupe window gets stuck on the first color it touches.  Still can pick different spots to change WB, but the loupe never changes as you move around image.  This is new since Sonoma upgrade.  Restarts, etc., did not resolve.

Sorry - can't edit my first reply, but I literally just this second also realised that if you move the eye-dropper off the image (whether it's zoomed out so there is empty space between the image and the panels, or if you're zoomed in to 400% so the image expands beyond the panels), wherever you bring the eye-dropper back into the image area, the zoomed in pixels of the white balance picker will represent the area at which the eye-dropper rejoined the image area..  so it updates the "Pick a neutral target" preview when you come back into the bounds of the image - but just not while you're moving around the image itself.

Also makes no difference which screenmode you're in (full, full with menu etc)

@Rikk Flohr: Photography I've just updated to Sonoma 14.4 and the bug still occurs in 14.4... 😞

Just installed new Lightroom Classic update 13.2. Mac OS is the current 14.3.1. The loup works with Point Color but is still locking up on the first pixels it touches in White Balance.

Oops, got things backwords. In classic it DOES work for Point Color but NOT for White Balance

Just updated to Lightroom (Desktop) 7.2 and the loupe problem is still there for both White Balance and Point Color. In the Lightroom Classic update (13.2) the loupe works as it should for White Balance but still doesn't work for Point Color. Sonoma 14.3.1

Yup, same issue with me.

The white balance and point color loupes get stuck on the first thing they preview after mousing over the first image I use it on after application launch. On MacOS Sonoma 12.3; Lightroom Desktop 7.1.2; MBP 13" M1 2020.

They will still work (i.e., set a WB or choose a point color) when clicking on the image, but the preview/zoomed version of the loupe remains frozen. I've only noticed this issue lately - may be a result of upgrading to MacOS Sonoma 12.3. Seems very similar/the same as this issue reported as a bug in Lightroom Classic: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-bugs/p-14-3-sonoma-wb-picker-loupe-tool-is-stuck-after-first-click/idi-p/14378458

I have tried adding Lightroom to allow it to view/record screen in System Preferences (though it has never asked for these permissions); have also tried resetting Lightroom preferences. Restarting Lightroom or computer can reset the what the loupes get stuck/frozen on initially. However, once the loupe is first used and gets stuck, even switching to a different image in Lightroom won't change that original frozen loupe view.

Anyone else with this issue?

I'm having the same issue. When will this be fixed?
