After installing 2015.8, I can no longer access Auto Import Settings from the File menu.  Is this a new bug?

@796284 Fuller - can I get a catalog from you too?

Yes I agree with you as to the corruption in previous versions. My MacBook Pro has only ever had 2015.8 on it but never used in the studio. But I have now tested it at home and it works as it should with it's 2015.8 catalogue. I'll try and open an older one later and see if that works but need to pull the cats from the MacPros and NAS first. But as I said I think you you are bang on the money with your thoughts and observations B Fields.

I did create a new catalog in the new version of Lightroom (CC2015.9) and made various changes. I then used DSLR Assistant to shoot a series of shots and move them into the watched folder.  They then auto imported into Lightroom (the new catalogue) satisfactorily.  I then made various changes in the settings, naming, presets, different folders, etc. and the auto import function continued to work and I could access the settings.  It appears the problem is with some corruption in my/our catalogs created under previous versions of Lightroom. As Mr. Spock would say, "curious, Captain, there seems to be no logical explanation for the phenomenon."

With Harald's test catalog we were able to reproduce and have reopened the issue. This thread will be updated when we have more information. Thank you Harald.

I am in the same position. 2015.9 hasn't fixed the problem. Win10.

Has anyone tried creating a new catalog and importing the images into it?

B Fields,

Your catalog was used to verify the bug and subsequently test it. I don't think we need another copy from you.

Steve Fuller,

Stand by. I will ping you if I need yours.
