In Lightroom I changed my lights out to 50% and started working on a photo. When I got into the crop tool and applied a crop, the lights of the photo also dimmed to 50%. The photo is now linked to the interface with the lights out.

Lightroom - When you have lights off and select crop, as soon as you apply it the whole screen goes black and you have to move to the next photo and back to see the adjusted image.

When I press: L - Y - Y —an image becomes dark, as it was covered by a dark layer.

The same problem with: L - L - Y - Y and with L - \ - \

Here's an example of what I get:

The same problem appears in Develop module after pressing: L - Y - Y

Try turning off the graphics acceleration as I mention above. While it's still a bug, at least it works with that change.

I found a quite annoying bug in Lightroom CC when using the lights-out view modes.

- Select an image in the develop module.
- With the L-key select one of the lights-out modes, dimmed or all black background.
- Select the crop tool (R), crop the image and press ENTER to confirm.
- Bug: Instead of showing the cropped image, the screen goes all grey/black.
- You have to switch to an other image, zoom in or change some of the develop settings to see the image again.

Can anyone replicate this issue?

I always prefer to crop my images using a neutral background, so it is quite annoying that I can’t see the result immediately.

I am running Lightroom version: CC 2015.0.1 on Mac OS 10.9

Bug i newest Lightroom CC:
Crop a photo. While in crop, use Lights Off. Press enter to commit to the crop. Now you have an all grey or black screen.
If you turn Light On, the pic is there, but turn Lights Off, and it will disappear again.

I didn't see this bug report and filed the same one. I did find this morning that at least on my system, this can be fixed by turning off the graphics processor usage. It appears to be a problem only while the graphics processor is being used.

OS X 10.9.5
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M
Intel Core I7
