P: Crashes during sync (7846273/7883987)

I am running Lightroom Classic 12.0.1 on a Lenovo Thinkcentre M75s Gen 2 with AMD Ryzen 3 PRO 5350G CPU and 16GB of RAM. The OS is Windows 10 Pro. I have had consistent issues on this machine with the sync function. I use both the mobile app and Lightroom Classic, and I have noticed when editing or uploading images on the mobile app it would create often as many as 5 duplicates of the original image in Lightroom Classic. After wiping my cloud photos and rebuilding sync data as suggested by adobe support, I am now unable to sync at all. Lightroom Classic will operate normally as long as I leave sync paused, but the second I unpause it the program begins to slow down until a loading icon appears and it crashes. This happens without fail every time it attempts to sync. Is there any solution to this issue?

I saw the new update 12.2.1 and hoped it will resolve my sync issues, too. Unfortunately it didn't. Hence I assume the issue I experience is different to https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-bugs/p-fails-to-sync-since-12-2-update-windows-only/idi-p/13587700/page/2#comments

Anyways, what I did:

1) Updated to 12.2.1, LR keeps craashing when sync is turned on

2) Downgraded to 12.1 and removed the cloud library completely

3) Synced a single collection sucessfully

4) Updated to 12.2.1

5) Synced a single collection successfully

6) Synced a couple of collections sucessfully (approx. 30) until LR starts crashing again

Can someone from Adobe please take over that case and try to help solve the issue?

Hello Rikk!

I understand that you have merged my issue with the one here as it soud indeed similar. But it seems that this a dead thread as Conlan did not replay back. If someone needs additonal information, let me know.  I've sent a crash report and cross-referenced it in the description with this thread.
Looking forward to your response

LRc 12.2
Windows 11 Pro 22H2

When sync is turned on, LRc crashes after a couple of seconds after start. At least there's enough time to turn off sync again to keep LRc open.

Issue:
Step 1 Start LRc
Step 2 Click on any pimages or wait a couple of seconds
Step 3 LRc stops
Step 4 Wait for crash report dialog

That issue happened the first time after clean-up and re-organizing collections. If cloud sync is kept turned off, LRc stays stable

@Conlan22262704ms4k  The team is requesting a diagnostic log from you if you can supply one.

For LrClassic:

Go to Preferences

Lightroom Sync tab

Hold down [Alt/Opt]

Click [Generate Diagnostic Log]

Thanks!
