P: Delay after selecting Export

Hey guys !

 

After the latest update, I'm facing a rather annoying problem. After I do all my export settings and press EXPORT Button, LR seems to time out for a couple of minutes (and don't respond) until it starts the export. After that the export time is quick as usual !

    Hi, we have fixed this issue in LrC12.2, let us know if anyone is still seeing delays before the export operation starts.

      MacStudio Ulta (20core, 64Gb mem)... It takes 8seconds before the export starts (no watermark), 12seconds with textbased watermark.

      This is unfortunately true ... plus we pay. Wake up Adobe!!!

      For most of us this does not solve the slowness problem that has persisted since version 12. Before with 11, no problem.

      No its a graphic - I read all of these and tried all of it from what I can tell.

      If it's a text watermark, try unchecking Shadows -- that works around the problem for many.

      Yes with watermark and I have changed that setting.

      I cant believe this issue has been open this long.

      Hello - still experiencing this problem.

      It is very specifically related to exporting when using a watermark, I uncheck and it works as expected.

      This has been open so long Adobe HAS to get this wrapped up, I am pretty much at a standstill until this gets remediated.
