P: Delay after selecting Export

If it's a text watermark with Shadows, try disabling the Shadows.

1. Is there a delay of 30 seconds or more before the first file is exported, and then the export proceeds at the same speed it used to?  Or are the first photos exported immediately but all the photos export more slowly?

2. Try unchecking the option Preferences > Performance > Use GPU For Export -- does the problem improve?

3. Are you exporting with a watermark?  If so, try exporting without a watermark -- do the problem improve?

I just started using the new LR 12.1 on a Mac with OS 12.6.1.  I'm getting the slowdown after clicking the Export button too. The file is only 2048px, about 2MB. Export shouldn't be slow. I hope there's a solution to this soon!

Any news on their "Internal Tracking System"? Been a while and I am still paying for a service that I am not getting.

P.s. I have also noticed that I seem unable to import files directly from my desktop. Will it take another 6 months to fix?

Any updates? Will Adobe refund all the time we could not use LR12 dues to their incompetence? I would like to remind Adobe that then clock is ticking and we are subscribed to something we are not getting.

If it's a text watermark, check to see if it has the Shadows setting checked -- if so, uncheck it. That's a known cause of slow exports.

This thread is the official bug report. It has been marked "Acknowledged" by Adobe, which means it's in their internal tracking system. Unfortunately, Adobe rarely indicates when a bug might be fixed.  A new version of LR comes out about every 8 weeks, so we might expect to see the next release mid-December.

actually I just tried it. I've always used a watermark and need to use one. It only recently started this delay, but it seemed to speed up not ususing one. Very dissapointing. How does this get fixed?
