P: Editing with Auto Sync on do not sync the edits when using smart previews

I have updated the LR to version 15.3, and since that update I cannot sync the edits across multiple photos with auto sync on while using Smart Previews to edit. Some things, like applying a preset works but adjusting exposure, shadows etc do not propagate through the rest of the images… If I do edit while on library module it will work. 

This works fine with the source files connected and when LR isn’t using smart previews…

 

also 
lightroom is slower to apply presets etc than the previous version

How do you fix this?

      I finally got a chance to test this, and I can confirm what you are seeing. MacBook Pro M1 Max, MacOS Tahoe. When using smart previews, Auto Sync does not work. I selected four images, Auto Sync was on. When I click on B&W, only the active image is changed to black & white, even though Lightroom says ‘Changing four images to black & white’. This is clearly a bug, so you can’t fix it yourself. ​@Rikk Flohr_Photography

      Mac or Windows? What hardware specs? Always supply this kind of info, so you don’t get (for you) useless replies from people who tried to replicate this in another OS than you use. By the way: I think the description of the problem is clear enough.

      Please provide details.

       

      Why can you not sync the edits? What happens? Is there an error message? If so please give us the exact unedited word-for-word error message.

       

      PS: Please call your software LrC 15.3 and not Lr (because it is not Lr)

      MacOS Tahoe 26.3.1
      Nothing happens, the edit apply to the current image I am editing and then the message shows “contrast updated to 400 images” (something like that the default message that comes when you do an edit with auto sync applied ) But the edits do not apply to the other images. The progress bar that comes on on the top left hand side do not comes on either.

      I have uninstalled and re installed ligghtroom again but the issue persists
