P: Export/Add To This Catalog auto-scrolls the Folders panel, making it impossible to use

After upgrade I noticed as follows:

While creating background task (for example exporting approx 200 photos with adding them to the catalogue) LR behavior is changed in Library view:
a) the filters are constantly deactivated when new photos are added in background, it is impossible to choose another set of photos to create new export task
b) the folders tree view is all the time repositioned in such a way, that at the top visible is a row which is currently updated. It is hard to scroll down/up to select other folder...

Greetings

Updates to Lightroom Classic CC (8.2), Lightroom CC for desktop (2.2), Lightroom CC.Mobile (Android and iOS) were released on Monday, February 11, 2019. Please verify that your issue is fixed by the current update.

Thank you for your patience.

Every time a file is exported, lightroom returns you to the folder the new files are being exported into. I have a long folder tree and this makes it almost impossible to access folders at the bottom while exporting.

Also since the lightroom classic update, the problem continues to occur after export while lightroom is "Building standard previews"

On a big export, this can render some folders inaccessable for hours...

Please change the behavior of the folders panel when performing a combined export/"add to this catalog" operation.

Currently, if not already on screen, the panel will automatically scroll to the export folder each time an image is processed (if you haven't got lots of folders/subfolders on screen... i.e. you don't have to scroll to see all your folders, this fault won't exhibit).

I rely heavily on the folder structure for my image organisation, and as such often have to scroll to see different parts of my archive. When performing regular file organisation tasks (i.e. exporting to lossy DNG/"add to this catalog") the folder panel will scroll away from where I am working to the export directory each time an image exports and re-adds to catalog (e.g. if I export to a sub-folder named "DNG", the folder panel will scroll to that on each export, even if I am working somewhere else) elsewhere in the catalog (if not already on screen).

This means I am constantly having to fight Lightroom by scrolling every time the folders panel moves.

"the folders tree view is all the time repositioned in such a way, that at the top visible is a row which is currently updated. It is hard to scroll down/up to select other folder..."

I observe the same annoying behavior.  It also happens in 2015.5, so it's not something that changed recently.

The only workaround I've discovered: Select the photos to be exported, then collapse the Folders panel, then start the export.  While the export is running, use the Any Source plugin to find and select a different folder.

"the filters are constantly deactivated when new photos are added in background, it is impossible to choose another set of photos to create new export task"

Do File > Library Filters > Lock Filters to lock the filters so they won't get reset constantly (or click the little lock on the right edge of the filter bar).   Each time the export causes a new photo to be imported into the catalog, LR thinks the currently selected source is changing, and if the the filters are unlocked, they get cleared.

This behavior is the same in 2015.5, so it's not something that changed recently.
