P: Impromptu slideshow in develop module - first image very pixelated

Lightroom 6: When running an Impromptu slideshow from the develop module - the first image looks very pixelated - like an upsized thumbnail, very soft, with no fine detail at all. Other images in the slideshow look like 'normal' slideshow images - still unacceptably softer then the image is displayed in the develop module, but much better than then first image. Playing the slideshow from the slideshow module generates 'normal' slideshow images. Also an impromptu slideshow from the library module does not show the problem on the first image. Changing the slideshow quality setting appears to make no visible difference. Also turning on or off use of the graphics processor makes no difference.

Thanks. The fix in  2015.5/6.5 is working for me.

I'm not sure why this issue was overlooked for Lr 6.3, but I was able to reproduce it and have filed a bug report. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Well 6 months has passed and we now have 6.3 which was supposed to include lots of bug fixes, but an impromptu slideshow is still quite unusable. I'm not impressed.

Thanks Tom and Alan for confirming that it is not just me.

I posted a similar problem a while ago, but im my case all I get is a dark grey area where the image should be, and a light grey surround, which should be black. LR4.4 is still working fine on this machine.
