P: Issues with DNG Flat Field Plug-in

Hello,
I am using the DNG Flat Field Plug-in for Adobe Lightroom.
It has worked flawlessly for since January, but now I'm getting errors, when I try to apply it.
I have already tried to reinstall the plugin, but this does not solve the issue.

I get the error message, attached below.
The error only occurs, when GPS data is attached to the dng files. As the plugin was last updated 2013, I think, there's a incapability causing this issue.

As this plugin is necessary for people using technical cameras like me, it would be great if you could update the plugin, so that it works without hassle with the Lightroom CC 2015.
Maybe you could also code the feature inside of Lightroom.

Thanks very much!
Kind regards, Sebastian

Lightroom Classic 8.3 was released today and contained a fix for this issue. Please update to 8.3 and verify that you are no longer seeing the issue. Thank you!

doesnt work in LR CC. it renames the flat image to *_ff.dng but thats about it. shooting at 1.4 so falloff is heavy. on some test images i see about 1-5% improvement on falloff but still nothing close to flat.

I waited and waited, but finally gave up this, bought a Phase One back and switched to Capture One where LCC calibration works perfect.

Hi i'm triyng to use the flat field plugin in Lightroom 6.12 and DNG from Leica M10, but the message : " no calibration image detected" is always coming up, i don't know what to do , i always put the calibration image and the real image side by side and it is always the same error..

Hi Stefan,
The bug report for this issue is still open. It was pushed out of the 6.7 update due to time constraints and is currently slated to be fixed in the next release. I have reminded our devs to prioritize the fix and apologize for the inconvenience.

Still doesn ́t work after upgrade to Lightroom 2015.7
Flatfield correction with "apply external correction" still gives the same error as above. I tried different computers and different images. Please make this work! Thanks.

I also had the older version of LR installed  on my laptop (2015.6) It might be the LR version and not OSX. Tried to upgrade the Laptop to OSX10.11.6 and also LR 2015.6.1. "Apply interleaved correction" seems to work, but not "apply external correction". If that helps... Thanks!
