My lens blur only works very occassionaly since updating and now almost never. It sometimes worked if I restarted but not any longer. Very frustrating.

Any help would be appreciated.

@Serene30708560bzb9: "Lightroom Classic version: 15.1 ... that work around does not work for me."

Then it's likely you're tripping over a different problem than the one described in this thread and fixed in LR 15.1.

1. After applying Lens Blur to a photo and observing its effect doesn't appear in Develop, restart LR. Does the lens blur effect now appear?

2. After applying Lens Blur, does the AI Edit Status button in the upper-right corner of Develop turn yellow, e.g.

johnrellis_0-1767137592818.png

If so, click it and do Update. Does Lens Blur now appear?

3. Do the menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste its output here.

@Serene30708560bzb9

1. Do Help > System Info. Which version number are you running?

2. See the workaround here:

As already mentioned in this thread as an issue raised by lots of users. Since the update (I think in November), when I use Lens Blur in LRC it doesn't show any differences to the image. This issue was supposed to be fixed in the latest update (December 2025), however I have experienced no changes since downloading the update. As per my question for advice. Thanks.
