P: Longer shutter speeds do not show in the Metadata panel

Lightroom Classic version 14.4.1; macOS 15.2.

Open a catalog with images that have a shutter speed of 0.3 sec or longer; alternatively import such an image.

From Library Module activate the the Library Filter, click Metadata and change one of the columns to show the Shutter Speed.  Select a value that's 0.3 or more.  (I think any value that is not formatted as a fraction will show the bug.)

The matching images are displayed. Click one of them. In the Metadata panel the Shutter Speed value is blank, rather than showing the value from the Library Filter.

Greetings all,

A new update for Adobe Photography Products has been released.  The April updates contain an update for this issue.

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Thank you for being so patient.

Me too 😉 I think 'Exposure' makes more sense than having two separate fields, so I had to add it for the test.

Thanks for the report.

I had to build out a custom metadata panel to see it.

Bug filed.

I cannot replicate this on a 2-second exposure.

Could you share a screenshot showing the complete metadata panel?

Also include the camera model number please.

I can confirm this. The shutter speed does show in the 'Exposure' metadata field, but not in the 'Shutter speed' field.
