Bonjour

Depuis l'installation de la dernière version 15 de lightroom, il est impossible d'utiliser le mode connecter avec mon canon R5

Lightroom détécte un appareil photo mais n'arrive pas à l'identifier.

Pouvez vous régler ce BUG?

Merci

Hi @nicolase51549506, welcome to the community!
Sorry to hear your camera isn’t connecting. Let’s try a few quick steps to rule out some common issues. First, could you try turning off your camera, restarting your computer, and then reconnecting the camera?
If possible, try using another application, like your camera manufacturer’s software, to see if it can detect and capture photos from the tethered camera. Also, please make sure your camera’s firmware is up to date.
If it’s still not working, try using a different USB cable and USB port to see if that helps.
Let us know how it goes!
Thanks,
Alek

The new LR Classic does not detect the camera for tethering. I am using the same configuration as I have used with the previous LR version that worked flawlessly.
I am on Mac OS (Sequoia) and LR Classic 15.

Hi @csavules, welcome to the community!
I’ve gone ahead and merged your thread with another one where a user is experiencing a similar issue, so we can keep everything in one place and help confirm if it’s a bug.
When you have a moment, could you share a few more details, like which camera you’re using? Also, were you able to try the troubleshooting steps I mentioned to Nicolase? Let us know if any of those helped or if the issue persists.
Thanks so much!
Alek

Hi there Aleke, I am using a Canon R5.
It worked with the previous LR Classic version. After the update it would not connect. It does see/feel the camera as it reads the card and suggests to import but it fails to connect. I have restarted the computer, the only solution I got was to downgrade and with the older version it worked flawlessly. The tethering works fine with the EOS 3 Canon utility.
Thank you

While the camera can intitally be detected, it doesn't reconnect after turning off the power etc.

The tether bar appears and simply says "no camera detected".

Hey, @grayj7988641. Thanks for reaching out. I'll help you figure this out.

Please share the system info from Lightroom Classic from Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Check the camera's permissions in the Privacy & Security section in macOS, revoke any previously granted permissions, and see if that helps. Also, as a test, check any other apps that can detect with the Camera, like the EOS Utility.

Just to be sure, ensure Lightroom Classic has the required permissions on macOS: https://adobe.ly/4hmGnNB

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!

Hi Sameer,

Thanks for the reply.
I've attached an rtf.

Lightroom has the permissions. Also, I didn't have any issues with this before updating.
I'm nor sure what you mean by permissions for the camera. Where would I find them?

EOS Utility functions normally.
