P: LrC 15.1 Navigator live preview not working when hovering presets

Hi there, up until upgrading my Mac to Tahoe 26.2 and Lightroom Classic to 15.1.1, my navigator panel would display preset previews when i hovered over them leaving the ‘main’ image unedited.

Now i either have no preview on the navigator and main image, or - after selecting ‘Enable Hover Preview of Presets in Loupe’ - i then have the preset preview on the main image and the navigator preview which is incredibly frustrating when editing larger files. Is there any workaround this?

I’ve tried all the usual options in terms of clearing cache, resetting preferences, downgrading to previous versions etc. but nothing seems to allow me to just apply a preset preview to the navigator image alone.

Hey, @Mark Riccioni. Thanks for bringing this up. This is a known issue, and I had logged this as a bug at the end of December.

The team is aware of this and is currently working on this; a fix should arrive soon. I’ll designate your post as primary to merge other user posts, and announce a fix when released.

In Lightroom Classic Preferences change the bottom setting to unchecked.

(Enable Hover ……….)

That will disable hover preview completely, also on the navigator. Holding shift (with this option enabled) does the same. The option to see the preview only on the navigator image seems indeed to have disappeared.

You are correct @JohanElzenga Amazing how often Adobe breaks things nowadays. Its getting ridiculous.
