P: LrC 15.2 Preferences live preview on hover for History & Snapshots not working

I unselected the “Enable hover preview of presets, history and snaphots in Loupe” option in the preferences but even though it is turned off, it is still previewing in case of hovering the mouse over any history state of snapshot. It doesn’t do the preview on the presets, but it is still previews the history and snapshots which it is not supposed to do, because the option is purposely turned off.

Hey, @Gabor Lenart & @acharnas! Thanks for bringing this up. I see the behavior on Windows as well.

I have raised it to the team for evaluation.

    Thanks!

So 15.2.1 came out and the problem still persists. Just thought I bring this up again.

Thank you for pointing this out. I was about to update today. So will stick with 15.1.1.

The 15.2 bug rendered my 36GB Mac Studio almost useless. Hope they will fix the memory management and overall performance soon.

I am having the same problem. Enable hover is unselected, but history is still showing the previews. This is an incredibly annoying bug...it makes it very hard to compare two history states. Holding shift down does turn off the hover preview, but this is a pain. (Lightroom Classic 15.2 on a mac)

I’ve also tried deleting the preferences file (com.adobe.LightroomClassicCC7.plist) as some recommended, but that does not help.
