P: Merge to HDR and Panorama doesn't work

On a regular basis, I merge 5 bracketed shots from my drone.  In the older LR, this operation took about 1 minute or less.  I could "batch" 5 operations at a time and have them all done in about 3 minutes or less.

With the newer, faster, more awesome (and likely soon-to-be-deprecated) LR, it simply won't do anything.  I was lucky and had one HDR to work, but I've tried countless others (one for nearly two hours) and nothing happens.  The progress bar makes no progress.

I'm really worried that this important feature is simply victim of a bug.

Anyone else having issues?  Adobe, what's up with this??

I'm using a medium-powered PC that has never had problems with merge before.

You can hide files on an individual basis, or you can hide their containing folder. Even though the effect is the same, the ways to do it are not. I said Shift, or on older systems Option. That should work, unless Apple changed it once again in High Sierra: http://osxdaily.com/2016/12/12/show-u...

You weren't talking about hidden, you were talking about hidden?
Files and folders are both objects and they WERE both hidden.
Your shift Go advice was not correct but it clued me in to what I needed to do.
Thank you for the follow on advice.

I wasn't talking about hidden files. I was talking about how to unhide your user Library folder. A different way of doing that is to go to your home folder and then in the Finder choose 'Show View Options'. All the way at the bottom you can check the option to show the Library folder. In that folder you'll find that 'Application Support' folder. And in that folder you'll find the 'Adobe' folder and then the 'Lightroom' folder.

While in the Go menu, holding shift only changes one item and it has nothing to do with hidden folders. So I hit Google and figured out how to show hidden files.
Then I also hit google to figure out how to create the file.

System Info does not correctly display
Config.lua flags:
Features.disableGlobalTaskManager = true

But, merge to panorama now works.

There definitely is an 'Application Support' folder in your user/Library folder as well, but the user/Library folder itself is often hidden. In the Finder, select the 'Go' menu while holding the shift key. Now your user/Library folder should be in the list, so you can open it by selecting it in the menu. Note that in older versions of MacOS and Sierra you need to hold down the OPTION key rather than the SHIFT key.

It might help if Adobe put the files into the right folders or set the correct path to the file.
The folders specified in my system info do not exist.

The system file specifies: /Users/Tom/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom
There is no /Application Support/ folder.

My /Application Support/ folder is located at MacintoshHD/Library/Application Support/
But then there is no Lightroom folder

I can't remember why this was flagged as off-topic, but figured I'd follow-up to say my issue was fixed. The cause was in fact caused by the hard drive not being high sierra compatible (requires re-formatting to fix) - I transferred my files to a new external hard drive, and was able to do panoramas and hdr merges.

I just downgrade to version 6.0 and managed to do the panning successfully.
I also got in touch by phone with Adobe that will ask me for the log I posted above.
But it's been 5 months since people are having this problem and the solution still does not seem to be definitive.
Dude ... we pay dearly for this ... I am extremely dissatisfied with Adobe because of that.
