P: PhotoshopDotCom.lrplugin can't export psd files out of LR

I found that the lightroom upload plugin can't convert and export psd files to viewable jpgs.
Need to export them first to jpeg format, reimport them in lightroom to upload them then with the plugin.
Wonder why this works with the third party jF-Facebook plugin, but adobe is not able to convert psd to jpeg?

Is it possible to fix that?
