P: Pressing "^" crashes: language English - German key

Pressing the "^" Key in Lightroom (language English) on my Macbook Pro 13' (German key layout) running macOS Sierra produces an "Internal Error" because "Range or index out of bounds" prompting me to "continue" or "crash" Lightroom.

Anyone else with this problem?

    after updating lightroom, the bug no longer exists.

    Could you please confirm the version of Lightroom you are using?
    It shouldn't happen with Lightroom 6.7.

    I have tested it in the library (Grid-, People-, Loupe-, Compare-, Survey-View) and development module. No specific operation is being done, just viewing the selected foto.

    Are you doing any specific operation, like updating a meta data, and so on?
    Or, does it happen whenever you press the specific key irrespective of the current Lightroom module you are at?
