I have noticed that when I zoom to fill in Print mode Lightroom classic the colour seriously degrades, has anyone else experenced the same?

While I originally had this issue for quite a while, it has not been present for some time now. Lightrooom 12.01, Ventura 13.0.1 on M1 MacBook Air.

I am working with LRC 12.0.1 and Ventura 13.0.1 and am seeing this Zoom to Fill printing problem.  I feel like this issue was previously fixed and is now back, but honestly I don't print enough with Zoom to Fill to recall.

In general, I'm finding strange behavior in the Print dialog box under LRC 12 and Ventura. The paper type keeps changing and even color sync will swtich off, each - seemingly - at random.  Very frustrating... and expensive.

I just upgraded my system to Monterey, and the problem does not exist there.  Seems to be a Big Sur thing.

OK.  So I have this problem too in Big Sur, Lightroom Classic 11.1.

This is a HUGE bog, which has been known for about a year.

Has anyone upgraded the system software to Monterrey and seen the same or corrected behavior.

Ugh! I just tried printing for the first time in a while (and quickly found this post).  I most certainly see a degraded image when I check "Zoom to Fill."  (Haven't tried the stroke thing, which I don't use...)

I also am having this issue.  I am running the latest Lightroom Classic 11.0.1 on Big Sur 11.4.  Using "zoom to fill" in the print module seriously degrades and desaturates the colors. This degradation results in bad prints. My "workaround" has been to stop using zoom to fill, but this is a loss of one of the features of the Lightroom print module. This is a serious issue, and judging from the posts, it hasn't been corrected for months.  I hope it is addressed soon.

I am having the same issue - stroke border causes the image to desaturate. Flicking it on / off I can see the change.

Is anyone seeing a difference in their prints?

Thanks, I hope so too. I agree, I love LR's print module. So this is a drag right now...

acharnas  - clear discription of a complicated glitch.  Lightroom's printing module is the best of the software I use or have tried.  So, I hope this gets addresses successfully

I have a slightly different version of this problem. The color shift/desaturation not only occurs with zoom to fill, but also when I select Stroke Border. However I just noticed something. When I select Stroke Border, the image only shifts color at certain cell sizes. As I drag the height or width changing the size bigger or smaller, the image goes into and out of this color shift. Sometimes with just a tiny change in size, it will go good, then a fraction more and it gets the color shift.
