P: Remove tool clone and heal is missing source handle

When using the clone and heal options of the revised remove tool, Lightroom automatically picks a source area as previously, however there is now (Lightroom Classic v13.3 on Windows 11) no way to change this manually.  The drag handle doesn't appear when hovering over the source area.  The tool overlay is visible, I can see both the source area and destination.  The destination area can be moved and dragged, the handle appears when the cursor is over this, but not for the source area.

Just updating this for those who are working on a fix in the hope this might help- none of the work arounds posted have worked for me yet. I have found that the heal/clone tools do work and have the source handle only when the size is above 25 and even then, you have to find a very specific spot within the source zone for the handle to appear. Working with Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1

Unfortunately, this solution does not work for me.  Use Smart Previews wasn't on (and never has been) .  Turning Smart Previews on, testing, zooming in and out, exiting, restarting (30 second wait), testing/zooming, turning it off, exiting, restarting (30 second wait) still fails.  All with zooming in to 100% then back out.  Iscatalog backup required on exit?

This is on a Windows 11 23H2 machine, LrC 13.3, all Windows and driver updates applied.  My video card is an AMD 6600 so this is not just an NVidia issue.

@Rikk Flohr: Photography  - No this doesn't work. It was disabled for me already. I enabled it. Still did not work. Then disabled again. Still did not work.

I never lost the ability to move the heal/clone source/target, but since the latest update I am unale to FINELY adjust them.  Any relocating of the sample/target areas can only be made in large distances (I'm estimating 10px or more).  Trying to align these areas along any kind of edge in an image is now impossible!  I am using Windows 10 with a trackball mouse zoomed in 100x-300x.  Prior to this update, things could be relocated to the pixel level, but now (no matter how long I click and hold) they only move when I drag them large distances.

I am having the same issue with both the heal and the clone tool in LRC. I have also tried updating, uninstalling, reinstalling, reverting to an older version (which wouldn't allow me to open any catalogs, even old ones, so that wasn't a viable option). Tried doing the 100%/Fit trick and nothing. Checked Preferences and already had smart previews disabled so tried enabling them, closing, re-opening, and still nothing. Then disabled smart previews again and still didn't fix it. I'm in an office and one other user can't replicate the issue on their computer while one other has the same issue as I do but it seems to be sporadic when it happens while I cannot get mine to go away at all. Also, can't do a screenshot or video to share on here due to work confidentiality, so don't ask, but Just know that you are not the only LRC user with this issue currently.

Unchecking ""Use Smart Previews instead of Originals for image editing" and restarting allows me to drag the source area even though no handle is shown in the source but only in the destination. Moving the cursor over the source changes to a hand icon for dragging, so the work around is working on a Mac running Sonoma 14.5 with Lightroom Classic 13.3.
