P: Right click with pen or touch doesn't work w /Surface Pro 3 Tablet

On one of my catalogs, folder:getChildren() is returning 0 return values for a particular folder (that is, it is executing a "return;" statement, with no value):

I've optimized the catalog to no effect.

If I hide the root folder "/", then the method works correctly.

Hey there.
I have the exact same problems as the guys above.
Clearly the UI on Lightroom is no touch/pen friendly. And although PSCC 2014 is now much better, the Panel scrolling (with 2 fingers) is my biggest ask.

Thanks for looking into it.
Surface is my no.1 tool for onsite logging and file ingestion. I hope that one day I can use Lr/PS/Prelude without the keyboard or even the pen.

So 1.right click 2. Scrolling 3. Bigger icons 🙂

Thanks for the reply Jeffery.

Would also like some other features such as scrolling the photos strip with fingers (swiping). Will we see such features in the near future?

Hi. The Lightroom engineering team is looking into this one.

Hi Thomas,
I noticed that if you move the pen while right clicking then it will work.

Same problem here. Lightroom and surface pro 3.
Anything we can do to fix that?

my main reason to buy the surface 3 also was Lightroom and Photoshop. And both have problems with right click 😞

Unfortunately I bought the Surface Pro 3 specifically so that I could use it off-site with Lightroom as the pen seemed like a perfect solution. However, without the ability to right-click, it does create some real difficulties.

also the sliders in the devolopment module do not react as they should (sometimes moving them does absolutly nothing)
