P: Slow preview in full screen (F)

It has become painfully slow in Mac Mojave when I press “F” to view previews in Full screen. Takes about two secs to switch between pics, even if previews already exist. It goes instantly to switch between pics in Loupe mode. Tried turning graphic processor on and off, without significant difference. 
(On an 27" iMac 4 GHz Intel Core i7 24 GB)

    One of our QE was able to duplicate so we've opened an issue. Thanks for the reports.

    If you:

    1. Hit [Shift]+[Tab] to hide all panels
    2. Hit [Shift]+[F] twice to toggle into full screen (slightly different than just the [ F ] key)

    Is the performance any different?

    It is the same in Library and Develop.

    I tried this a couple of days ago after a Twitter report and was able to reproduce it in Library. I didn't check Develop.

    Are you in Library or Develop when the slowness occurs? 
    Is there any difference between the full screen in Library vs. Develop?
