P: Unable to advance to the next photo

Why no one writes about the fact that in develop mode, after any manipulation with a photo, it is impossible to go to the next photo in the feed? You go, but the photo remains the same as it was, you have to go back and only then go to the next photo. This is a global problem!!  Anyway, I did some research and I realized why many people are silent about it, because this problem occurs only when using the +\- buttons on any keyboard, even on macbook !!!!. If you use only mouse or touchpad, there is no problem with photo transition. That's why many photographers don't pay attention to it, because they don't use the keyboard. Therefore, ADOBE does not react in any way.

Correct me if I'm wrong...but by engaging capslock and using 1 to advance you are simply using the rating to advance? In the screenshot I posted last I was using capslock + 5 to advance as I use 5-star ratings to temprarily rate images. I have created a couple of lovely videos using your method with both the 5-star rating advance method + the 1-star rating method to advance through images. Both reuslting in the same issue.

I think you might want to try editing at the pace I do without the circus tricks and see if you come across the issue under normal circumstances...If not, then you are for one reason or another not expericning what the other 250+ users on this thread are experiencing.

@TomReesFramer  Read carefully my message that I wrote, it's not enough to turn on just the capslock and scroll with the right arrow, I wrote that it works only if you use the 1 button, (at least 1) You have a selection of 5 stars in the screenshot, which means that you did not try to scroll with the 1 button. Everything works well, yes, it takes some getting used to, but it's better than constantly running arrows back and forth

Caps lock on. Hat with a spinning propellar on. Clown nose on. Still having the exact same issue the other 240+ users who've posted in this thread over the last 4-weeks.

@TomReesFramer  What workaround are you talking about? If it's the one I suggested above, then everything works great, if it doesn't, then you're doing something wrong. Turn on the capslock and work

Is this a joke? I just tried this "work-around" for a laugh and can confirm it doesn't work. You must have one of those special Adobe computers that never experiences any bugs. I actually got an even more bizzarre rendering when using this circus trick. All whilst also having "Use smart previews bla bla bla" turned off.

Friends and colleagues, we've already written here in the chat about a temporary solution to the problem, and I'm still working without any problems and my processing speed hasn't dropped. All you need to do is turn on the CAPSLOCK and instead of the right arrow, press the button (1), then you will not have any problems with switching to another photo. If you want to go back to the photo, press the left arrow, not the (0) button. Those who make selections not by color, but by numbers will not have problems, I do it only 1, if you do it with different numbers, then after you have made a selection and you need to start processing, you can simply put a red marker (6) on all selected photos, for example, with number 2, and so for each number do it in different colors! Then, after processing, return to the photo with the red marker and put the number (2) on all the photos again. This is all done in the LIBRARY mode, just select all the photos marked with the red marker and click (2), that's it, your photos are marked again the way they should be. So, it's not difficult to do, it doesn't affect the speed of the process, and then we wait for ADOBE to fix the bug! Enjoy)

Hi. I am also having this issue in LRC 13.0.1 on November 6, 2023, when using the left/right arrow keys to advance photos in the Develop module. This is a major issue for me because it stops advancing to the next image about every 5 - 10 photos. I'm a wedding photographer going through 1300 photos and this is extremely frustrating and prohibits productivity for me. Adobe, please fix this asap.

"this bug its so easy to reproduce. I dout that Adobe tested using 15 photos in develop mode with a batch adjustments  like a normal user do every day.

Weeks later and now they ask for "closed beta tester" . This is so nonsense."

Keep in mind that not everyone is having this issue, so it may not be that easily reproduced.
However, this is a serious issue for all those who are affected!

I updated to the 13 and then 13.1 and have issues with a lag when flipping between photos in Develop mode. Ill have to flip back to the previous photo and then back again to the one i want to edit next. Its adding so much time to my workflow. Anyone else with this issue and are there any fixes?
