P: Will not export both portrait and landscape oriented pictures as a slideshow video in 720 or 1080

When attempting to export pictures to an HD slideshow video, I noticed that it completely fails to even begin the export at either 720 or 1080.  I am able to export at the lower quality settings, but the pictures are completely blurry.  I read a post that having portrait oriented pictures in your slideshow is causing the problem.  Sure enough, I create a slideshow 720 or 1080 video with only landscape photos and the export works fine.  I then try to create a slideshow 720 or 1080 video with nothing but portrait, and it hangs.  It did this is the version prior as well, as I was hoping the update would fix this.

Rikk, LR Classic 9.3 slideshow works for 720p video, but 1080p video only works if the first photo is landscape. If it's portrait there is no progress shown in the task bar and clicking on the 'x' to stop it requires restarting LR before another video can be exported. Otherwise the progress bar gets stuck at about 10%.

Version 9.3, an update to Lightroom Classic, went live on June 15, 2020 and contains a fix for this issue. Please install the update and respond back if it does not cure the issue for you. Thank you for your patience!

The test version you sent me (9.3) doesn't fix this issue at all. The slideshow export progress bar does not go above 0%. Closed and reopened and it's now stuck at 20%.  If exporting landscape only it will export in a few seconds. Didn't even know that because I've only ever exported mixed orientation images as a slideshow so it's never worked properly for me. In the previous version of Lightroom the only way I've managed to get it to work is to keep opening and closing Lightroom. The previous version would get stuck around 5% forever. I've tried to export twice in the new version but have not been successful yet. Would really love to be able to export a slideshow! Can we please get this fixed. It's been years.

Thanks for the advice, it worked perfectly changing the 'prevent' option

I'll help test. This bug has been bothering me for years. It's incredibly annoying.

The Photoshop Family will not let me "completely" log on if  "Prevent cross-site tracking" is checked  in Privacy settings in Safari Preferences.  This happens on Safari on my iMac and 2 iPads.  It look like it logs in but the final Green "your are logged in or whatever it says" dialog never show up.

By the way logging into this has taken me 20 mins as it doesn't want to log in on Safari
