What happened on your system 3 weeks ago before the slowness appears?

Unfortunately you haven't given us any information about your system. Therefore, all proposed solutions are a look into the crystal ball. Please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the Lightroom menu item Help > System Info. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. Please make also sure that you have installed the Studio version and not the Game Ready version of your NVidia driver.

Hi, sorry to hear Lightroom Classic feels so slow at the moment. The official troubleshooting steps for Lightroom Classic performance are:

    1. Update to the most recent version of Lightroom Classic (Help > Check For Updates).

    2. Update your graphics driver to the latest version.

    3. Pause "Sync With Lightroom" while you import and edit - syncing uses CPU and system resources.

    4. Turn off automatic XMP writing: Catalog Settings > Metadata, deselect "Automatically Write Changes Into XMP".

    5. Optimize your catalog (File > Optimize Catalog).

    6. Increase the Camera Raw cache size: Preferences > File Handling > Camera Raw Cache Settings, try 10 GB or more.

The full official guide is here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/desktop/technical-support/performance-guidelines/optimize-performance-lightroom.html

If it is still slow after these steps, please add your Lightroom Classic version, your operating system, and your GPU model - that information helps to narrow it down. Hope this helps!
