My 2D texture preview is all black

Windows 10
GeForce 1080

Mesh is always good but 2D view is always black.

Updated GPU driver and nothing.
Cleared cache and nothing.
Deleted the data folder and nothing
Re-installed and nothing.

To test, just open the software, put any texture, and the 2D view is always black.

I do have 30 Gb of free space on my C disk now so that’s not an issue

    Hello,

    Sad you are currently experiencing issue with Substance Sampler.

    Let me explain what it is currently happening with your machine.

     

    Your are currently running an old setup, out of our minimum requirement.

    First, you are running Windows 10 Version 22H2 that is not compatible with our rendering engine.

    Your nVIDIA driver version are up to date, BUT, you currently running legacy driver with the last Security Patch from June for your 10 series GPU. So the driver version is new, but what they are currently supporting is not.

     

    nVIDIA website:

    NVIDIA has released a software security update display driver for Maxwell, Volta, and Pascal-series GeForce GPUs which are no longer supported by Game Ready Drivers. This update addresses multiple issues that may lead to security impacts.
