Sampler Apple Silicon support

Hi,

according to the changelog, Sampler should be able to support Apple Silicon. I already tried removing and reinstalling through Steam, but only ever get the Intel edition. Painter and Designer are being installed correctly with the Apple Silicon binaries.

How can I install the Apple Silicon version of Substance Sampler (Steam Edition)?

Thank you

Hello, I'm talking about Substance Sampler here 😉 I'm a member of Susbtance Sampler team, I think what I'm talking about is right.

Does this is a mistake on our side? (copy past from the CCD release) Yes.

Does it affect the perfomances? Not really.

Do we neeed to continue this thread, even if the question is answered? No.

We plan to do the same as Designer and Painter with universal builds. But I can not give you any official ETA.

FYI, a release note is not an advertisement but the refelect of the job done by the whole team to improve the software, but you know sometimes (because we are human) mistakes happend.

Kind regards,

Guillaume

@Guillaume_Substance3D

Which is not true. Substance Designer and Substance Painter are native.

Also: In your steam release information you explicitly state "[Application] Native Apple silicon (M1) support" (see attached screenshot)

So when will this (advertised) feature be released? What's your timeline here?

Hello,

Currently our Steam builds are not Apple Silicon native.

Only the Creative Cloud Desktop version is.

Hi,
Can you share your logfile?

Or did you try to reach the support already?

Thank you!
