image darkens and then go back to the regular tone from continuously

After updates on Beta & regular Photoshop, when I am editing an image it will shift to a darker tone for a while & go back to original tone. It does this continually. How do I make it STOP!? It even does this when working with layers! I set image profile (the gray gamma) & made sure images is converted to same profile, however my images continue to go dark & back to original version.

Same issue here. I guess it hasn’t been solved yet. I will disable the graphics processor for now. Hopefully it gets fixed ASAP.

yes i notice this too. if you press F to cycle views, and stop at the full screen view, the change in saturation and brightness stays, it seems linked to the actual canvas being visible.  Turning off the GPU features is not a fix at all, performance becomes so awful its really not good at all.  this version sadly is advertised at fixing previous colour/brightness shifts and inaccuracies, it seems to have made them worse!

Same issue here, @Kevin38012783ipfp solution works by turning off the graphics processor.

Same issue here, including Beta version of PS. Graphics card is Radeon RX580. Issue started with latest update to PS. PS 27.10.0 Turning off GPU processing hasn’t helped.

Reverted to version 27.9.1 and the problem seems to have disappeared. I thought at first it was my GPU, but issue has affected other cards as well. Going back to 27.9.1 has definitely solved it. Been stable on several images for lots of editing. Definitely an Adobe issue.

I’m also having the same issue since it looks the last update. Very annoying.

Turn off the graphics processor function in settings and restart the program. I did so and the issue stopped.

Yes, this worked. It did not at first, but after restarting my pc it did. Strange. Still interested to know what the consequences are for turning off the graphics processor. Maybe I will find out soon. 🤔
