P: Actions dialog gets skipped -- adjustment layers

As of 2/18/25, I've noticed, in Photoshop Beta 26.5.0, on iMac Intel and M4 Max Macbook Pro, a bug within the actions. If I have an action with the dialog toggled for a curves adjustment, it skips the dialog for my input. Upon further testing, it skips dialogs for any of the adjustment layers, like hue/saturation, levels, etc. It successfully asks my input for filters and other non-adjustment layer settings (as shown in my screenshot), but skips adjustment layers.

Regular Photoshop is fine.

Thanks.

Hi @CShubert, it's working, for me, now, as of a couple 26.5 updates, ago. I believe it started working with the update after my post (with v1 Photoshop splash screen).

If it breaks, again, I'll do as you mention.

Thanks for checking in.

Hi @alllan the team was wondering if you could share the ATN file as well as the image you are seeing this issue with?  We are trying to reproduce the issue and are not currently able to.

Send link to files to shubert@adobe.com

Thank you,

Cory

Yes it looks like the latest beta update is preventing adjustment layer modal windows from opening. I have a script to use the modal window instead of the layers panel and it work in the latest stable release but not the beta. Can we roll back to the previous beta somehow?

Hi @alllan we see this as well and have passed it on to the team.
