P: Artboards can no longer be edited

Was working in latest version of Photoshop beta then my Layer Group Folder stopped opening and closing

I have this problem too! It is costing me so much time! And once an artboard is open by right-clicking on the layer in the artboard, I can't close it. Does anyone have a workaround?

This isn't the first time I've come across such a serious issue coinciding with a program update – it's truly frustrating, and I hope the next fix addressing this major problem gets approved soon. Hey Adobe, wake up!

Yup same here - started 2 updates ago. I kept 2023 so having to bounce between till its sorted 

The button to collapse/expand (show/hide) artboard layers is not functioning. If artboard layers are collapsed when a layer inside is selected, the artboard will expand, but it cannot then be recollapsed.

Having the same problem as everyone. I noticed that too. Adobe please help!

I have the same problem! Artboards don't want to expand layers! However, before the update, if I saved the file with the artboards expanded, it remains like that, with no possibility of collapsing the layers!

As of the beta update on Aug 22, 2023, I can no longer expand and collapse artboard layers in the layers window. Clicking the small arrow symbol (> or ⌄) next to each artboard name no longer works.

I noticed that, before the update, if I saved the file with the artboards expanded, it remains like that, with no possibility of collapsing the layers, the same happens with the opposite.

I reset to factory properties, uninstalled and installed PS, restarted the Mac, Adobe support accessed remotely and nothing resolved.

The support solution was to go back to the main version and when you need a specific tool, use it only in the Beta version.
