P: Background removal feedback and comment option in Beta

I downloaded the Beta so I could test out the Background Removal, as I am providing down to the pixel edits and am spending a ton of time removing or adding back in subject/background edges. The selection is no better than in Photoshop and when I went to submit a comment in the Beta PS, the comment menu showed up, but not the ability to write a comment or add a picture (and yes, I clicked those boxes). When I exited the comment window, I got a "successfully submitted" message - or something similar, when I hadn't been able to give my feedback.

I'm posting here the selection zoomed in to show how the background removal tool leaves holes in the subject and is not smooth which is the same as in PS.

Here is another picture of what I have to clean up.  Doing this for hundreds of pictures is extremely tiresome.

Hi @LetriciaH sorry to hear this.

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:

/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut

With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

Also, I duplicated the background layer so I had an editable layer. Here are the dialogue screen captures. When I click on the Feedback button and selections > Other, I can't type in the dialogue box and clicking X gives me a "Feedback successfully sent" message.

On the Beta, instead of "Select Subject" I actually clicked "Remove Background".  I'm getting you a screen capture of the message about not sending feedback... one second.

I'm trying to capture the info requested but my PS 2023 froze. Same with Photoshop Beta. It's like clicking the System Info button causes PS to freeze. My other apps and computer are working. I can't get the requested info for you.
In case you need to know, here are the specs for my computer:

Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K 3.60 GHz
Installed RAM 64.0 GB (63.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 22H2
Installed on ‎3/‎14/‎2023
OS build 22621.1555
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22640.1000.0

Here's my workflow:
Open PS 2023
File > Open > (Select) > Open
Using Crop Tool, crop selection

Using Quick Selection Tool > Select Subject
After selected > Select and Mask
After selected and masked, Output to New Layer with Layer Mask
_______________
Here is what I am doing in Beta:

Open PS Beta
File > Open > (Select) > Open

Using Crop Tool, crop selection

Using Quick Selection Tool > Select Subject
After selected > Select and Mask
After selected and masked, Output to New Layer with Layer Mask

Same workflow, same result.
Both PS 2023 and Beta are still freezing when I click on System Info. It also appears that I can't have both Beta and PS 2023 running at the same time.

Thank you for looking into this.

I'm including a PS 2023 screen capture of the subject that I submitted before from the Beta version.

Hi @LetriciaH would it be possible for you to share your workflow, what settings you used in your selection, screenshots of the entire workspace so the team can see what you are?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
