In both regular Photoshop 2024, 2025, 2026 and Photoshop Beta which is of this post 27.2, one needs to go to Photoshop 2026 or Photoshop Beta>Settings>Interface and check Show Simplified Right Click And Flyout Menus and then right clicking to the right of the Adjustment Layer or Layer Mask will show the Replace Adjustment menu item.

On Windows it"s Edit>Preferences>Interface and check Show Simplified Right Click And Flyout Menus

I believe that the Replace Adjustment menu item appeared at the same as the Adjustment Brush Tool for which Colin

Smith has an interesting video related to being able to change the Adjustment Layer type.

Do you remember in Photoshop versions before CS4 there was a similar command called Change Layer Content, except it included Fill Layers as well.

The team is working on a fix and should be released in an upcoming Ps Beta build.

I've never seen an option to Replace Adjustment

Are you trying to make the same adjustments to multiple images?

You can save an Adjustment Layer's settings out to a new Preset and use that preset in other images.

It might help if you told us the circumstances that made Replace Adjustment show in the menu.

And exactly what you are trying to achieve?

I apply an adjustment to the image by creating a new layer, for example a
curves adjustment. On the new layer, I right-click and duplicate that
layer. I go to the new layer (duplicate curves), right-click again, and
look for the option: replace adjustments. A menu appears with other
adjustments such as levels, vibrancy, explisure, etc. I choose the one I'm
interested in. Before, I would change it to the desired adjustment. Now
nothing happens.

Hi @mallorcalens could you share your workflow, what steps are you doing when you see this?  We need to try to replicate and want to make sure we do exactly what you are doing.
