P: gen fill with soft borders creates hallucinations

Hi Cory,

this is not related to 360, i can replicate this effect on any image that is a flat surface with structure, and some element that needs to be removed.

gen fill as demonstrated in the video works fine, a soft selection gets the ai to hallucinate. i can replicate this on pretty much any random image

the "hallucinations" are the strongest with a freehand selection, feathered. a rectangular selection doesn't exhibit this behavior as clearly

Thank you for the excellent video @joergeng84239194 curious if you get the same results using the rectangle marquee selection rather than drawing so close to the object... are you doing this on a 360 degree image and trying to remove the tripod?

Hi cory, 

since you and the team are looking at this already, the texture size for the gen fill is off. the texture is much finer than the actual surrounding. i can't remember seeing this effect in prev versions.

Hi @joergeng84239194 would it be possible for you to share screenshots of your workflow and what you are seeing for the team to look at?  Are you seeing this issue with the lastest Ps beta: Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.13.0 20240911.m.2768 2674484 arm64 ?
